Juan Pablo Gonzalez, EA is the founder and owner of JP & A Consulting Services, LLC dba JP & A Tax Services. He has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, income tax, payroll, and business solutions. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. He has worked in several local accounting firms in the past before starting his own tax practice in 2010. He obtained the Registered Tax Return Preparer designation in 2012. Later in 2014 he became an Enrolled Agent. An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax practitioner who has proven technical expertise in the field of taxation. Enrolled agents are empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals. EAs are the only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. In 2021 he became an NTPI Fellow. This designation is evidence of significant expertise in the representation of taxpayers before the IRS. National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) Fellows have completed a stringent, three-level program of study that covers all faces of representing clients before the IRS. He is an active member on numerous professional organizations, including the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents.
